Artist Biographies

From 1983 to present, Peter has performed in the Central Massachusetts music scene with a variety of Blues, Rock and Jam band projects.  A couple of notable original recording projects were during the early 1990's with his band, The Links and later with jazz-fusion group Odibil libidO at the turn of the millennium.

Other notable experiences over the last 15 years were his drumming/lead vocal (Phil Collin's style) stints with such acts as Big City, the Lineup, Ravin' Blue, The 4 Door Quartet, Whiskey River, Mocha Java, Loose Cannons, Occipital Porpoise, Superflux, Odibil libidO, currently with the Anita Jones Band, and most recently with Next Move. Next Move is an opportunity for Peter to focus on performing as the Lead Vocalist as well as filling in the groove on percussion.

When behind the drums Peter favors Premier percussion, Sabian, Paiste, and Zildjian cymbals.

Peter Ferraguto
Anthony 'Tone' Caramadre

Anthony 'Tone' Caramadre is a "best kept secret" as a veteran performing artist and songwriter playing his way thru a few long term rock bands thru the 80’s & 90’s.

Tone also has many credits as a recording artist and has been seen playing with the best from New York city’s eclectic clubs, regional/national venues to the Queen Elizabeth II and everywhere in between.

A published songwriter/producer his passion and solid bass playing carries the music direct to the listener and draws an "I can’t believe my ears?!!" kind of reaction!!

Whenever he’s playing they’re dancing and they don’t want him to stop! Tone also owns and operates Phattones - a recording and sound company in Warwick, RI, another "best kept secret" and can be contacted at phattones@cox.net .

Martin Stewart

A native of Irvine on Scotland’s west coast, Martin moved to the USA in October 2001.

A self taught guitarist from age 16 Martin learned from listening and playing along to records.

Several years later Martin was recording and playing with local bands culminating in performing at the Kelvingrove Festival, Glasgow, Scotland and national and local radio broadcasts. Martin has been fortunate enough to share the stage with Bon Jovi in Scotland and more recently with Shirley Lewis in the USA.

A few of his musical influences are David Gilmour, Frank Zappa, Jeff Beck and The James Taylor Quartet.

Yukihide "Yuki" Tomari

Born in Japan in 1975, Yuki started learning the keyboard (Yamaha Electone Organ) at the age of 7. He was twice awarded first prize at regional Electone contests.

In his college and graduate days, he actively played in many Jazz, Fusion, and Funk bands at clubs and restaurants in Tokyo metropolitan area. In 2000, he joined Spitfunk (www.spitfunk.net), a funk band with 4-horn section, toured all over Japan, and released two CDs.

In 2003, Yuki moved to USA, and met Martin Stewart, who at the time was forming Next Move.

Martin quotes, "Yuki is one of the most gifted musicians I have had the pleasure and honor of playing with in over 20 years of playing, simply put he has a remarkable gift".

Patrick Sanders

__________________________________________________________

Patrick hails from northern Illinois and has been thumpin' the tubs since he was 10, when he began taking lessons with local jazz great Frank Hensler.  The early part of his musical journey was rather pedestrian, as he--like most young drummers--played in school bands and irritated his parents and neighbors with a prog-rock garage band.

After high school, he decided to put his drumming ambitions on hold and follow a childhood dream.  He entered the Marine Corps in July of '97 and spent the next two years and some change in the infantry.  It was there that his desire to pursue music professionally (and get the hell out of the mud!) was solidified.  He subsequently auditioned for the United States Marine Drum & Bugle Corps and toured with that unit for the remainder of his enlistment.

Upon gleefully returning to civilian life, Patrick moved to Boston and began attending Berklee College of Music.  While there, he studied with Mike Mangini, Rick Considine, Casey Scheuerell, Dave DiCenso, and Jamey Haddad, among others.  He will complete his degrees in Performance and Music Business this December.

Patrick loves to lay down heavy grooves, every now and then sneaking in an almost-inappropriate polyrhythmic oddity, taking cue from his drum heroes (Gene Krupa, Buddy Rich, Louie Bellson, Dave Weckl, Vinnie Colaiuta, Terry Bozzio, Neil Peart, Mike Portnoy, Manu Katche, Matt Cameron...) and musical influences (Peter Gabriel, Sting, Seal, Frank Zappa, Steely Dan, Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Dave Holland...)
